Draft - Event where members of a sports pool attain exclusive ownership of players by publicly picking them. Pool members make their picks in a specific order.

We will setup a web page so your pool members can submit their fantasy picks on-line.

Fantasy - Type of sports pool where pool members can pick whatever players they want no matter if other pool members picked those players as well.

Daily Updates     Back
On a daily basis we update our statistics so your pool members can track how they and their fellow members are doing.

Frequency of statistics will vary according to the sport and the breaks in the season.

Rotisserie Scoring     Back
Don't be intimidated by the term 'Rotisserie' if you're not familiar with it. Rotisserie is simply a pool format that pooladdict.com interprets in some of its pools. In some pooladdict.com pools you will have players that are ranked against each other in specific categories. The winner of the pool is decided by whoever ranks the highest in the most categories. The term 'Rotisserie' merely comes from the fact that inventor of the original Rotisserie pool, used to meet at a Rotisserie Chicken restaurant to track their progress.

Message Board     Back
Your pool members will be able to leave messages for each other on a public forum. Just in case they want to point other members' mistakes. You will be able to control the content and delete unwanted messages.

Key Sports Links     Back
Important sports links are included in the pool console. This makes it easy to look up information on different players and for researching trades.

Sports Links - Hypertext links to the major sport sites.

Pool Settings     Back
This panel allows you to change the general pool settings. For a pool that has a specific entry period, you could change that entry period here. You will also come to this panel after your trial period for pooladdict.com is finished and you would like to pay your fee.

Manager Settings     Back
This panel allows you to change your personal information settings. You can change your email or your password here.

Members     Back
This panel allows you to change the information of your pools members. This includes their personal information and their teams. If the type of pool you are running involves making trades, you will also be able make those trades with this tool.

Draft / Team Entry     Back
The Draft / Team Entry tool allows you to conduct online drafts or it gives you an easier way to enter all of your members' teams. The tool will first allow you to enter the basic information for all the members of your pool, and then enter a team for all the members.

If you are running a draft you would enter all the draft members, and click Enter Draft. Make sure you have the members' draft order correct. From the Draft panel, simply enter the first pick and click Draft. The panel should advance the draft to the next pool member.

The feature that makes it an online draft is the view draft board link. This is a page on the web that on-line members can follow while the draft is being conducted.

If you held you draft off-line, or are entering a bunch of teams for a fantasy pool you can use the draft mechanism to simply enter a bunch of teams. It is not necessary to hit the draft button after every player is entered, just once all teams are entered.

Making Trades     Back
To make trades:

1. Login to the admin panel for your pool from the pooladdict.com home page.
   
2. Click on 'Members'.
   
3. Click on the 'Edit>>' next to the member you want to change.
   
4. Click on 'Make Trades' (see notes below about NOT hitting 'Edit Team').
   
5. In the first 'Trade' dropdown menu, highlight the player to be traded.
   
6. If its a trade with the league leave the 'To' dropdown as 'League'. If its an inter-squal trade, change the 'To' dropdown to the other pool members name.
   
7. Use the 'Search by Last Name' and 'Pick>>' to put the new player in the 'For' field.
   
8. Make sure the 'The changes are worth' number is correct. Its up to you to make sure it is. The default is 1. (It should equal the total number of trades used by what you entered in this screen).
   
9. Hit 'Next>>', and you will return to the member's information.
10. Hit 'Save' and you will return to the list of members.
